126. Jacob KERST^2,13,44 was born on 31 Jul 1802 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized in Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Sponsors Heinrich Lies and Judith. Jacob was noted as an inn keeper in the 1850 Census in Alsace Township. In addition to his sister in law Mary Klohs living at the Inn, there was also a Sarah Klohs, age 28, relation unknown at the Inn, and a 3 year old child Lorenza Morgan at the Inn.

Jacob KERST and Elizabeth KLOSS were married about 1830. Elizabeth KLOSS⁴⁴ (daughter of Jacob KLOSS and Magdalena BAUM) was born on 11 Feb 1802 in Alsace Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 5 Mar 1877. Jacob KERST and Elizabeth KLOSS had the following children:
