337. John RHOADS² was born on 28 Dec 1812 in Amity Township, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized on 16 May 1813 in St. Paul's Union Church, Amity Township, PA. He was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amity Township, PA. Was a farmer. Not sure this John exists. Thinking he is his father and children here belong with his father and Catharine Pyle. Have a dob for a John of 28 dec 1812 in Amity Township, baptism 16 May 1813 at St. Paul's. His wife, Catharine Idyl, bore him four children, namely: Jeremiah, of Indiana county, Pa.; Isaac, of near Yellow House (had a son Jacob, living at Richmond, Va., and John, who died young and is buried at Amity); Rachel, who married Isaac Bowman, of Oley township; and Maberry A.

John RHOADS and Catharine IDYL were married about 1835. Catharine IDYL^2,50 was born about 1815. Surname also Eidel.
