4. Henry RITTER1 was born about 1712 in Exeter Township, Berks Co., PA. He died in 1761 in Albany Township, Berks Co., PA. Henry was noted on a Philadelphia County tax list in 1734. Henry was to be the executor of his father's will dated June 1760; however, with papers dated August 1762, sister Elizabeth renounced the executor position and stated Henry had died before his father. Per court filings, Henry died intestate in March 1761. Papers mention children Jacob, Ferdinand, and John and daughters were all under 21. Jacob and Barbara requested a new land patent since Henry was listed as an alien. Maybe he never took the Oath of Allegience. His land of 301 acres was confirmed to Jacob in trust for Barbara, the widow.

Henry RITTER and Barbara UNK were married. Barbara UNK was born about 1715. She died in 1781 in Albany Township, Berks Co., PA. Henry RITTER and Barbara UNK had the following children:

Ferdinand RITTER. Too many Ferdinand's. He is mentioned in father's will, so Henry had a son Ferdinand. But don't know anything else, or he is confused with the other Ferdinand Ritter in Albany Township.
