Pleasant Fire Company, United Steel Workers Union, Local 8467, and the 50 Plus Club of Bern Township.

Amandus E. RHOADS and Helen E. BROSSMAN were married. Helen E. BROSSMAN26 was born about 1917 in Bern Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 21 Jan 2008 in Wernersville, PA. She was buried in Fairview "Belleman's" Cemetery, Centre Township, PA. A Helen E. Brossman had married Arthur Brudereck in July 1926.

Helen E. Rhoads, 91, formerly of Bern Township, died Jan. 21, 2008, in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville, where she had resided since 2001. She was the widow of Amandus E. Rhoads, who died June 6, 1982. Born in Bern Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Clara E. (Dunkelberger) Brossman.
She had been employed for 20 years by Arrow International, Wyomissing, until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Centre Township. She is survived by a son, Gerald K. Rhoads, husband of June Rhoads, in Hong Kong. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Amy Wall and Stephen Rhoads; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Zachary Wall.
