858. Wayne N. LORAH^26,97 was born on 23 Mar 1912 in Ruscombmanor Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 10 Jan 1993 in Topton, PA. He was buried in Zion "Spie's" Cemetery, Alsace Township, PA. Born in Basket, Ruscombmanor Twp., PA. Wayne lived in Oley, PA, where for 30 years he was a rural mail carrier for the Oley Post Office, before retiring in 1972. Wayne was a USMC veteran of WW II, he was a founder and former commander of the Oley Valley American Legion Post 878. He was a member of Zion Spies United Church of Christ. Wayne married a second time to Eleanor S. Snyder. She died in October 1986. Wayne was a resident of the Topton Lutheran Home for over 5 years.

Wayne N. LORAH and Mildred Maye HIMMELREICH were married. Mildred Maye HIMMELREICH was born in 1916 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. Wayne N. LORAH and Mildred Maye HIMMELREICH had the following children:

+1109	ii.	Betty Lou LORAH3,17,26 was born on 18 Apr 1934 in Alsace Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 21 Jul 2005 in Fleetwood, PA. Betty maintains quite a collection of baskets and basket tools used by her grandfather Milton Lorah in his trade. Betty died of natural causes in her Fleetwood residence. She had been employed for 25 years by Lucent Technologies, formerly AT&T and Western Electric Co., Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1989. Probably buried at Spies Cemetery.
