Carrie R. YODER4,17 (daughter of James YODER and Louisa
ROHRBACH) was born on 31 May 1883 in Rockland Township, Berks Co., PA.
She died on 16 Feb 1967 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She was
buried in Friedens Union Cemetery, Oley, PA. Carrie was a care giver,
and would tend to the sick at their homes. She was caring for Jennie (nee Bower)
Prutzman - Reitnauer as she was dieing. Upon Jennie's death, her husband, Lawrence
Reitnauer did not want to raise the children. Jennie's last born child, Edith,
was only 4 months old and was taken in by Carrie and William to raise as their
own. Carrie, per her obit, also raised a Stanley Stauffer. She was a member
of Friedens UCC Church, Oley. She died at Wernersville State Hospital. William
