754	i.	Bessie R. BENFIELD51,82 was born on 30 May 1905 in Douglass Township, Montgomery Co., PA. She died on 1 Aug 2000 in Shillington, PA. She was buried in Bechtelsville, PA. Worked for 30 years with Mrs. Smith Pie Company in Pottstown, retiring in 1971. She was a member of St. Paul's Church in Stowe. She was survived by two sons, Lester B. Schmale, Fleetwood and Levi B. Schmale of Douglassville.
755	ii.	Curtis R. BENFIELD82 was born in 1919 in Bechtelsville, PA. He died on 19 Nov 2001 in Oley, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in St. Joseph's Hill Church, Pike Township, Berks Co., PA. Curtis, who resided at West Philadelphia Avenue, Oley, widower of Bessie F. (Moser) Benfield, died Monday from head injuries at the Lehigh Valley Hospital. Curt was a laborer for the Boyertown Body Works for 35 years and later worked at the Bally Block Co. for 12 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Joseph's Hill Lutheran Church and the Pike Township Sportsmen's Association.
