243. Daniel Faust REIDER^3,20,28,29 was born in 1849 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. Per 1880 census he was a farmer in Alsace Township and married to Rose. They had no children; but adopted a child they named Calvin. Also in 1880 Census they had a 21 year old servant, Isaac Reider, assumed to be Daniel's brother. The family moved to Nebraska and the servant Isaac married and moved to Chester Co., PA. Daniel was also reported to be a brick mason.

Daniel Faust REIDER and Rosella BABB were married on 31 May 1873. Rosella BABB^29,79 (daughter of John BABB and Mary DEHART) was born in 1849 in Alsace Township, Berks Co., PA.

Calvin F. REIDER29,51,56,69 was born on 10 Aug 1885 in Reading, PA. He died in Oct 1963 in Colorado. A grandson reports Calvin was born supposedly a Babb, and Daniel and Rose were his aunt and uncle. His given name Calvin may have been provided by Daniel and Rose. He was born on 10 August 1885 in Reading, PA, although nothing matching this date is in the Reading birth records for Reider or Babb. He is listed in both the 1900 and 1910 Census in Nebraska living with Daniel and Rose. The 1900 census states he was adopted and also lists a Caroline (Lydia) Babb, Rose's sister in the home and a Fred Heine.
