Johannes Weidner REIDER3,17,20
was born on 6 Sep 1788 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on
2 Jul 1881 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Friedens
Union Cemetery, Oley, PA. Johan Reider, was a farmer in Ruscombmanor
Township per Morton Montgomery's History of Berks County. But in 1870 Census,
he was noted as in Oley Township and a stone mason. During the last years of
his life, Johan was blind, and he lived in a small home along Water Street, Oley,
till his death. Burial was actually in the Palm cemetery, located behind a little
fire hall, named for Rev. Palm. Now included with the Friedens cemetery. (There
is a small stone by Johan's grave which speaks of a son, name I couldn't read,
died 1859, age 20 years - 4 months - 7 days. He was the father of a Mary, Hettie
and a son who died in infancy. The unknown eighth son.) This family recorded
in a Family Bible with Eleanor. The 1850 Census has another Esther living with
John and Elizabeth. She was listed as Esther Reider, born 1830, quite probably
the daughter of the unknown son, listed herein as Hettie. In 1829 or 1830, actual
date not recorded, Johan and Elizabeth baptized five of their children together
at Christ Lutheran Church, Spangsville.

1810. Elizabeth SCHLOCKERMAN3,6,17,20 (daughter
of Christopher SCHLOCKERMAN and Elizabeth BREIL) was born on 26 Jun 1790 in Exeter
Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 26 Sep 1861 in Oley Township,
Berks Co., PA. She was buried in Friedens Union Cemetery, Oley, PA.
