297. Emma B. BOWER^17,26 was born on 29 May 1866 in Ruscombmanor Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 20 Dec 1956 in Boyertown, PA. She was buried in Friedens Union Cemetery, Oley, PA. Emma was a member at Good Shepard Church in Boyertown, and its adult Bible class. When she died at her Boyertown home, she had 105 descendants. The 1880 Census has what is probably this Emma, living with the Peter and Sarah Strunk home in Oley Township as a servant. A John Bower, probably her brother, was in the same home and learning Peter's trade of a wheelwright.

Emma B. BOWER and Jeremiah M. GEISLER were married about 1885. Jeremiah M. GEISLER^11,17,26,83 (son of Thomas GEISLER and Elizabeth MOYER) was born on 4 Jul 1864 in Pike Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 17 Mar 1920 in Boyertown, PA. He was buried in Friedens Union Cemetery, Oley, PA. Jeremiah died at his home on North Walnut Street, Boyertown, following the affects of a stroke of apoplexy with which he was stricken Tuesday while at work at Campbell's nipple works. For many years he conducted a grocery busniess in Oley and was well known in the community. Several years ago he started in the same line of business at Boyertown and served many patrons with produce and fish. Recently his health declined and he started work as a cooper at the local nipple works and throughout the day he was jolly and at the time he was stricken with palsy he was singing. The Geisler family had three sons on the firing line in France and Germany for many months and this great strain worked hard on the father's constitution. 623	ix.	Esther B. GEISLER82,83 was born in 1906 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 30 Jun 2003 in Pennsburg, PA. She was buried in Falkner Swamp Cemetery, Montgomery Co., PA. Esther formerly resided in Gilbertsville. She was married to Ralph J. Geisler. She died in the Pennsburg Manor Nursing Home. Esther was a secretary at Peerless Heater Co. of Boyertown for 42 years, retiring in 1969. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ of Boyertown.
