He was baptized on 11 Feb 1876 in St. Joseph's Hill Church, Pike Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 11 Aug 1932 in Berks County, PA. Franklin A. Schollenberger was born near Hill Church, in Pike township, and attended the public schools in Oley Township in his early boyhood, later becoming a pupil at the Oley Academy. He began to learn the trade of stone-cutter under his father when very young, during the time when the business was located at Oley. After his father died in the Opera House Fire in Boyertown, he continued the business his father established at Boyertown, dealing in marble and granite as well as doing all kinds of stone and marble cutting. At his shop he employed five or six men and his equipment of pneumatic tools, drills, surfacing and polishing machines was complete and up-to-date. He did a large business making tombstones for the different districts throughout the lower end of Berks county. He was a member of the Friedens Reformed Church at Oley. Fraternally he unites with Ringgold Council, No. 23; O. U. A. M.; and Castle No. 123, Knights of the Golden Eagle, at Oley, and with Camp No. 8286, Modern Woodmen of America, at Boyertown, PA. Married second to Annie (Hartman) Brown. Frank and a daughter Ella, survived the fire. Franklin Amandes SCHOLLENBERGER

of Daniel Washington R. LEINBACH and Ada Marie REIDER) was born on 1 Feb 1882
in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 13 Jan 1908 in Boyertown,
PA. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, PA.
