37. Andreas BROTZMAN^4,6,8 was born on 4 Sep 1791 in Exeter Township, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized on 14 Nov 1791 in Schwarzwald Reformed Church, Exeter Township, PA. He died on 8 Dec 1830 in Reading, PA. Andrew was educated at the Trinity Lutheran school and learned the trade of a copper and tinsmith in Reading. He also started a cast iron stove business. He was married to Anna by Rev. Henry A. Muhlenberg. On 25 August 1814, he enlisted in the military and served with the encampment at York, PA from 28 August 1814 to 5 December 1814. He changed the spelling of his last name to Prutzman.

Andreas BROTZMAN and Anna Sibilla FURSHEL were married on 1 May 1813 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Anna Sibilla FURSHEL^4,14 was born on 25 Jul 1795 in Württemberg. She died on 28 Jan 1868 in Reading, PA. She was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. Daughter of Nicholas and Maria Ann Furshel. Nicholas was a school master. Andreas BROTZMAN and Anna Sibilla FURSHEL had the following children:

96	i.	Jacob PRUTZMAN4,6,7,14 was born on 14 Sep 1814 in Reading, PA. He was baptized on 26 Feb 1815 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. He died on 31 Jan 1851 in Reading, PA. He was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. Per the Reading Adler, he was a boatman. So possibly he worked on the Schuylkill Canel and died as a result of an accident on the job. The US Census of 1850 has Jacob listed as the owner of the family house at 231 South 3rd Street and his wife Anna age 36, no children? Reading's First Reformed Church has a Jacob married to Elizabeth Lorah on 10 December 1837.
97	ii.	Maria Anna PRUTZMAN4,6 was born on 20 Jun 1817 in Reading, PA. She was baptized on 10 Aug 1817 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA.
98	iii.	Henry PRUTZMAN4 was born on 23 May 1819 in Reading, PA. Believed died young. No record of baptism, so may have died within days of birth.
99	iv.	Nicholas PRUTZMAN4,6 was born on 2 Aug 1821 in Reading, PA. He was baptized on 24 Dec 1826 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Believed died young.
100	v.	Hannah PRUTZMAN4,6 was born on 1 Aug 1824 in Reading, PA. She was baptized on 24 Dec 1826 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA.
101	vi.	Rebecca PRUTZMAN4,6 was born on 24 Apr 1828 in Reading, PA. She was baptized on 1 Aug 1828 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading, PA. Believed died young.
