Arthur "Jack" W. Fryer, age 90, of West Seventh Street, Red Hill, PA,
died Sunday, October 14, 2001, in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, West Rockhill
Township, Bucks County, PA. He was the husband of Jane (Devine) Fryer, and the
couple celebrated forty-four years of marriage in February of 2001. Born on June
20, 1911 in Englesville, Berks County, PA, he was a son of the late Howard K.
and Ivy (Prutzman) .
Paul H. Fryer, 78, of East Third Street, Boyertown, died Feb. 10, 2003 at 10:45
p.m. in Pottstown Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Dec. 26.
He was the husband of Claire M. (Keyser) Fryer. Born in Englesville, Colebrookdale
Township, he was a son of the late Howard and Ivy (Prutzman) Fryer. Fryer was
employed for 40 years by Ajax Products, Boyertown, retiring as a supervisor in
1986. He was later employed as a consultant by Premier Applied Coatings, Boyertown.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Fryer was a life member of Friendship
Hook and Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church, Boyertown. Fryer is also survived by a son, Michael P., Boyertown, and
two daughters, Claire M. (Fryer) Kern, Schnecksville, Lehigh County, and Lori
L. (Fryer) Kelsch, Boyertown. Other survivors include two sisters, Marguerita
(Fryer) Ewing, Pottstown, and Helen M. (Fryer) Bower, Pennsburg, Montgomery County;
and a brother, Robert, Pottstown. There are also four grandchildren. He was
predeceased by a daughter, Cinde L. Fryer, in 1984. Burial will be in Fairview
Cemetery, Boyertown.
