702. William Hunter PRUTZMAN^1,27,96 was born on 29 Dec 1912 in Reading, PA. He died on 29 Jul 2006 in Laureldale, PA. Long time resident of Perry Street, Reading, Bill was employed as a steel worker with American Chain in Reading for more than 25 years. And later he was a meter reader with Met Ed, now GPU electric company, retiring in 1974. As a young man, Bill was an amateur boxer. He was a life member of the Democratic Socialists of America, American Civil Liberties Union, Robesonia Pioneer Hose Company and the National Organization for Women. He attended the Institute of The Arts, Wyomissing, where he studied the Russian language. He passed away at 3:35 p.m. in his Laureldale residence.

William Hunter PRUTZMAN and Ida Sallie ALTHOUSE were married on 5 Dec 1933. Ida Sallie ALTHOUSE^26,96 (daughter of Edwin Benjamin ALTHOUSE and Sallie KAUFFMAN) was born in 1914 in Laureldale, PA. She died on 17 May 1990 in Reading, PA. Ida was employed by David Crystal Co., as a quality control inspector for 28 years, retiring in 1976.
