William was the owner and operator of a quarry and hauling business in Morysville, for the past 25 years. He was stricken with a heart attack at his home, 861 S. Reading Avenue, Morysville, and was DOA at 5:45 am at the Reading Hospital. He was a member of the Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Friendship Hook & Ladder, Boyertown, Gilbertsville Fire Company and Pike Twp. Sportsman Assoc. Marriage record says married by Rev. M.L.Herbien of Reformed Church, which is probably the Salem Church in Spangsville. William was a musician for local hoe downs, playing accordian and fiddle.

William Hafer PRUTZMAN and Olivia H. KNABB were married on 4 Nov 1922 in Reading, PA. Olivia H. KNABB26 (daughter of Peter Hartman KNABB and Amanda Reiff HARTMAN) was born on 13 Jun 1902 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 11 Oct 1954 in Boyertown, PA. She was buried in Zion "Spie's" Cemetery, Alsace Township, PA. Lived at 861 S. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA. She was ill for several months. Olivia was a member of the Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville and the Ladies Auxillary of the following Fire Companies: Monocacy, Alsace Manor, Stonersville, Lower Alsace, New Berlinville, Bechtelsville, and Oley. Harold K. PRUTZMAN26 was born on 18 May 1923 in Boyertown, PA. He was baptized on 26 Aug 1923 in Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. He died on 4 Nov 1997. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. "Prutzie" was living at 418 Covered Bridge Road, Oley, on the Raymond Hafer farm in a trailer, when he died. He had lived for years with his father at 861 S. Reading Avenue Morysville, helping his dad with hauling stones from the quarry. He was the owner - operator of the Prutzman Black Top Company, which he ran from both homes, and later he was employed as a school bus driver for the Oley School District. Harold was a member of the Salem UCC Church, Spangsville. Prutzie never married. On October 14th, he was driving northbound on Manatawny Road, near Kulp Road, when his car crossed the southbound lane and struck a tree. He died from multiple injuries suffered in the accident. His remains were cremated.
