685. Herl Raymond PRUTZMAN^1,41 was born on 18 Sep 1909 in Shillington, PA. He died on 30 Nov 1986. He was buried in Aulenbach Cemetery, Reading, PA. Worked for many years as a supervisor at a hosery mill in Elkton, MD. He drove back and forth between Elkton, MD and Lincoln Street, Reading. Later he moved to Lemoyne, near Harrisburg, PA, where he owned and operated the "Carpet House". He and his son "Sonny", operated the store, and when Herl retired to Florida, Sonny continued the business. Herl and Ruth lived for some time in Haines City, FL and then moved to Avon Park, FL, where Herl died from cancer. Ruth returned to Lemoyne, PA. Herl is buried in Aulenbachs Cemetery in an unmarked grave, with his mother Alice.

Herl Raymond PRUTZMAN and Ruth Ann AUKAMP were married on 24 Nov 1927 in Reading, PA. Ruth Ann AUKAMP^41,60 was born on 11 Feb 1907 in Reading, PA. She died on 21 Jul 1999 in Pennsylvania. Daughter of Clarence L. Aukamp, who lived with wife on Gordon St., Reading, near Buttonwood Street bridge. Herl Raymond PRUTZMAN and Ruth Ann AUKAMP had the following children:

+843	i.	Herl Raymond PRUTZMAN Jr.41 was born on 15 Sep 1928. He died on 2 Feb 2007 in Harrisburg, PA. Known as Sonny by the family. Worked with father to open and operate the "Carpet House" in Lemoyne, PA. He eventually received complete ownership when father retired, and now in 1997, shop is still going strong with Sonny's son Scott now as owner. Herl married a second time to Dorothy Shearer, 18 Sep 1925 to 22 Jul1995, from cancer.
844	ii.	Gerald Wayne PRUTZMAN41 was born on 18 Aug 1934 in Lemoyne, Cumberland Co., PA. He died about 1952 in Italy. Jerry left for service in the US Navy 22 Aug 1951. While in port in Italy, and on ship leave, Jerry got involved in a fight with a local Italian over a girl. He was stabbed and died in Italy.
