243. John Harrison PRUTZMAN^{1,30,31,32,48} was born on 10 Nov 1864 in Pottstown, PA. He died on 20 May 1918 in Pottstown, PA. He was buried in Pottstown Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. John was known as "Uncle Bob". He was reported to be a wagon driver for the Reading Breweries, hauling beer from Reading to Pottstown, PA. He lived his last years in a one room shack on N. Evans Street, near Wilson Street, Pottstown, PA. His obit confirms his residence but makes no mention of his occupation. Only his first wife Kate is mentioned; if he married Emily Buck, he was apparantly divorced before he died. John died in the Pottstown Hospital from diabetes and he was mentioned as the last of eight children of Isaac and Elizabeth Prutzman to die. His age was given as 53-6-10 so we can calculate his birth date as 10 November. He was buried in the Pottstown Cemetery on 23 May. The funeral service was conducted at the home of Lucinda Boyer, 227 Beech Street.

John Harrison PRUTZMAN and Catharine Wittman BITTING were married about 1886 in New Hanover Lutheran Church, Montgomery Co., PA. Catharine Wittman BITTING^1,30,32 (daughter of Jesse Gilbert BITTING and Lydia WITTMAN) was born on 24 Jan 1869. She died on 8 Feb 1905 in Pottstown, PA. She was buried in Pottstown Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. Know as Kate. John Harrison PRUTZMAN and Catharine Wittman BITTING had the following children:

John Harrison PRUTZMAN and Emily J. BUCK were married on 12 Apr 1906 in Reading, PA. Emily J. BUCK²⁷ was born in 1868 in Hamburg, PA. Emily and John were married at St. Peter's Methodist Episcopal, Reading. By Rev. W.A.Ferguesan. Daughter of Tobias & Mary Buck. Emily's first husband died 15 September 1903.
