8. Johannes BROTZMAN¹ was born in 1740 in Williams Township, Northampton Co., PA. He died in 1788 in Iowa. Johann was born about 1740, either in Bucks County or Sussex County, NJ. I lean toward Bucks County, which has since been broken up into many other counties, thus the listing in Northampton County. I initially thought he was the Johann who married a Catharine and lived in Upper Milford Township on 82 acres of land. However if that was the case, he was there a short time as he moved west, dieing in Wyoming, Iowa.

Johannes BROTZMAN and Catharine UNK were married about 1770. Catharine UNK¹ was born about 1750. Johannes BROTZMAN and Catharine UNK had the following children:

44	i.	Johann Jacob BROTZMAN1 was born in 1773.
45	ii.	Johann Henry BROTZMAN1 was born on 15 Dec 1773.
