He obtained 164 acres of land for farming along the Lehigh river near Smith's Island, Williams Twp., Northampton County, PA. Records indicate Jacob furnished horses and a wagon for the Army in 1765. her death about 1814; but that doesn't allow for a second marriage to Anna.
