23. Jacob BROTZMAN^1,3,10 was born on 23 Oct 1752 in Montgomery County, PA. He was baptized on 10 Dec 1752 in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. He was confirmed on 20 May 1772 in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. He died on 17 Mar 1830 in Pennsylvania. He was buried in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Jacob served during Revolutionary War from 5 Dec 1778 to 1781. After Hannah's death at age 40, Jacob married again to an Elizabeth, she is buried beside Jacob at Old Trappe Church. US Census 1830 lists Jacob in Limerick Twp. Per the provisions in his father-in-laws will, Jacob was to continue farming the Markley plantation and rendering unto the mother-in-law every third bushel and for her to find all the fire wood she needs, cut, at the door, for the rest of her life.

Jacob BROTZMAN and Hannah MARKLEY were married on 11 Jan 1774 in New Hanover Lutheran Church, Montgomery Co., PA. Hannah MARKLEY^1,10 (daughter of Jacob MARKLEY and Barbara RAUSH) was born in 1752. She died in Aug 1792 in Limerick Township, Montgomery Co., PA. In the year 1770, Hanna was confirmed at Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe. Letter of administration dated Aug 13, 1792 for Hannah to Jacob Prutzman. Jacob BROTZMAN and Hannah MARKLEY had the following children:

66	i.	Sarah PRUTZMAN1,3,9 was born on 12 Oct 1774 in Montgomery County, PA. She was baptized on 12 Mar 1775 in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. She died on 18 Sep 1846. Joseph or Sarah's dates are wrong. Maybe Sarah is a February birth?
67	ii.	Joseph BROTZMAN9 was born on 10 Apr 1776 in Montgomery County, PA. He was baptized on 8 May 1776 in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. Record from Augustus has year 1774; but that conflicts with Sarah's birth. I'm assuming most obvious mistake here, a 4 sometimes looks like a 6.
68	iii.	Hannah PRUTZMAN1 was born on 7 Dec 1777 in Montgomery County, PA. She died in 1830. Was married and had children. Brotzman book has a 1784 birthdate. I found a 7 Dec 1777 date with Rev. Muhlenberg's records.

72	vii.	Elizabeth BROTZMAN1 was born about 1792 in Montgomery County, PA. Maybe the Elizabeth who married 14 June 1818 to Philip Woodring.

Jacob BROTZMAN and Elizabeth UNK were married about 1794. Elizabeth UNK^1,9 was born on 17 Mar 1767. She died on 6 Sep 1817. She was buried in Augustus Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. Jacob BROTZMAN and Elizabeth UNK had the following children:

Mary BROTZMAN9 was born about 1800 in Montgomery County, PA. Mary married Joseph Simmers on 22 Oct 1835. He was a son of Daniel and Sarah Simmers.
