505. Charles Geisler PRUTZMAN^15,20,26 was born on 17 May 1877 in Earl Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 10 Nov 1918 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Charles was a farmer, his farm was in "the dip" along Oley Line road (now the Pfiefer farm). Charles died on a Monday morning of "Black Flu" (influenza). Just one day earlier, his son Raymond had died of the same desease. A double funeral was held on Wednesday. Charles was a member of the Patriot Order of the Sons of America, Camp 221, at Limekiln.

Charles Geisler PRUTZMAN and Jennie Maryann BOWER were married on 28 Feb 1903 in Oley, Berks Co., PA. Jennie Maryann BOWER⁶⁶ (daughter of James BOWER and Amelia MOYER) was born on 9 Dec 1884 in Pennsylvania. She died on 6 Nov 1926 in Reading, PA. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Jennie, as a young woman, worked as a servant on the Fultz farm in the Oley Valley. Charles Prutzman also worked on the Fultz farm and thus they met. She died in the home of her sister, Maggie, in Rosedale. She was sick and bedfast for 21 weeks prior to her death. 649	vii.	Raymond Bower PRUTZMAN23,66 was born on 21 Aug 1914 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized on 21 Sep 1914 in Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. He died on 9 Nov 1918 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Raymond, died during the 1918 influenza epidemic, just one day before his father died of the same ailment.
