443. Chester F. GRIESEMER¹ was born on 6 April 1850 in Philadelphia, PA. He died on 10 October 1892 in Tacoma, WA. Chester worked as a salesman for Folwell & Company in Philadelphia. He became a partner in the firm of Boyer, Rex & Griesemer, and later with the firm of Geiger & Griesemer. Chester apparantly met and married Ellen Deuel in Urbana, Ohio; but returned to PA. He later moved to Washington state in 1889, where he lived but a few years before he died. Chester and Ellen also had twins Paul and Pauline in 1889 but they died as infants.

Chester F. GRIESEMER and Ellen Wallace DEUEL were married on 26 November 1874 in Ohio. Ellen Wallace DEUEL¹ was born on 8 September 1854 in Ohio. She died on 30 March 1927. Born and married in Urbana, Ohio.

Minnie Louise GRIESEMER¹ was born on 12 August 1875 in Philadelphia, PA. She died in 1955. Married to Lewis Wesley Destler on 3 January 1899 in Urbana, Ohio.

Chester Deuel GRIESEMER¹ was born on 30 June 1877 in Philadelphia, PA. He died on 13 August 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. Chester remained a bachelor and lived in Brooklyn, NY. He was an investment banker. He became very interested in the history of the Griesemer family. Exchanged many letters with local genealogist, Mrs. Gloria M. Steinmetz, and made many trips to Berks County to research the name. Chester was elected Historian of the Griesemer Family Association, a position he held till his death. He set up the Griesemer Family Record book in which all known names are recorded, and he provided a chart of the descendants of Johann Valentine.

Ellenor Wallace GRIESEMER¹ was born on 27 December 1879 in Philadelphia, PA. She died on 2 February 1958 in Los Angeles, CA. Married a Harry L. Tolin. He was born 16 June 1880 in Indiana, died 17 September 1967 in Los Angeles County, CA.
