599. Chester Butz GRIESEMER^1,3 was born on 23 February 1889 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died in 1943. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Resided on Winsor Street, Reading, PA. Was a conductor with the rail road in 1917 Directory.

Chester Butz GRIESEMER and Annie B. RICHARDS were married about 1909. Annie B. RICHARDS⁴¹ was born on 20 October 1889. She died in 1962. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA.

+990	i.	Earl R. GRIESEMER41,49 was born on 19 June 1910 in Reading, PA. He died on 3 December 1970. He was buried in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Mount Penn, PA.
+991	ii.	Martin L. GRIESEMER41,49 was born on 22 November 1912 in Reading, PA. He died on 2 November 2005 in Reading, PA. He was buried in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Mount Penn, PA. Martin, formally resided at Temple, died in Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where he had resided seven months. Martin was employed for 35 years as a laborer by the Railway Express Agency in Reading, retiring Dec. 6, 1975. During the 1980's he was employed by the Reading & Northern Railroad. He also appeared on BCTV for two years for discussions about Trolley Cars of Reading. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. Surviving are two sons, Robert, Shillington, and James, Wernersville. Other survivors include four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janet M. (Griesemer) Potts, in 1975.
992	iii.	Stanley M. GRIESEMER3,41 was born on 1 December 1914 in Reading, PA. He died on 13 April 1915 in Reading, PA. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA.
993	iv.	Chester R. GRIESEMER Jr.41 was born on 27 May 1916 in Reading, PA. He died in September 1980 in Pennsylvania.
994	v.	Henry W. GRIESEMER3,41 was born on 25 September 1918 in Reading, PA. He died on 19 December 1918 in Reading, PA. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA.
995	vi.	Anna M. GRIESEMER41 was born on 18 February 1921 in Reading, PA.
+996	vii.	John P. GRIESEMER Sr.41,49 was born on 12 January 1923 in Reading, PA. He died on 17 August 2002 in Charleston, SC. John, formerly of Eighth Avenue, Temple, died in Veteran's Administration Nursing Home Care Unit, Charleston, S.C. He was employed for 10 years as a packer in the meat department at Acme Markets. He was also employed for 34 years as a mechanic by Branch Motor Express, until his retirement in 1988. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, David L., Summerville, S.C., and a daughter, SuzAnna J. (Griesemer) Rogers, Tacoma, Wash.
