Clerked for some time at his father's store in Griesemersville. Farmed the homestead for five years. When Ed's father bought a new store at Pleasantville, Edwin clerked there till 1902, when he bought the store from his father and expended the business. From the Brumbach Families book, Edwin resided in Lebanon, PA, which apparantly came much later. Ed and Mary Alice had three sons, twins M. Edna and Edwin Lloyd G.; J. Leroy; and C. Lester.
