154. Jacob G. BERTOLET^14,28,43 was born on 3 November 1815 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 17 June 1878 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Bertolet Union Cemetery, Oley Township, PA. Jacob lived and died on the old Bertolet homestead in the Oley valley. He both farmed and operated the Bertolet saw mill. The saw mill has since been moved to the Daniel Boone homestead to be put under the care of Pennsylvania's Historical Commission. Jacob married second to Lucetta Schearer on 18 September 1860, they had no issue.

Jacob G. BERTOLET and Lucetta SCHERER were married about 1855. Lucetta SCHERER²⁸ was born on 13 July 1832. She died on 27 November 1881. She was buried in Bertolet Union Cemetery, Oley Township, PA.

Jacob G. BERTOLET and Hannah MATTES were married on 24 October 1841. Hannah MATTES^14,28 was born on 29 October 1818. She died on 15 March 1853. She was buried in Bertolet Union Cemetery, Oley Township, PA.
