He was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amity Township, PA. Clayton has been familiar with farming from his early boyhood, and in the spring of 1894 he began for himself in Amity township, near Baumstown, where he remained one year. He then went to a farm belonging to his grandfather, Samuel Griesemer, in the same township, and for two years devoted himself to its care and cultivation. The next six years were passed on Isaac March's farm, also in Amity, and in the fall of 1902 he purchased the John Geiger farm near Amityville, moving on it in the following spring. It consists of 106 acres of good land, and the stone house is in excellent condition. He has two silos and is progressive and up-to-date in his methods. In politics he is a Democrat, and for six years served as school director, a part of the time being president of the board. He and his family belong to the Reformed Church at Amityville. Clayton B. GRIESEMER and Katherine H. DIETER were married on 24 August 1891 in Reading, PA. Katherine H. DIETER29 was born in 1866 in Exeter Township, Berks Co., PA. She died in 1929. She was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amity Township, PA. Daughter of Amos and Mary (Herflicker) Dieter, of Exeter Township. Member of the "Ladies of the Golden Eagles." Clayton B.
