13. Elizabeth GRIESEMER was born about 1746. Not entirely sure this is Elizabeth Griesemer. Sylvester and Elizabeth Griesemer were sponsors for some baptisms. He did marry an Elizabeth. The only possible parent appears to be Wilhelm, and so I have linked her to him.

Elizabeth GRIESEMER and Sylvester Vesper NEUIN were married about 1770. Sylvester Vesper NEUIN¹¹ was born on 27 December 1739 in Pennsylvania. He died on 24 October 1820 in Strausstown, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Strausstown Union Cemetery, Berks Co., PA. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Sylvester originally bought land in Oley Township in 1766 for his homestead. Land was adjacent to his father's land. He later moved to Tulpehocken Township, Berks Co., about 1779, and sold his Oley land to his father. Sylvester served during the Revolutionary War in Captain Shepler's 3rd Company, 6th Battalion, Berks Militia, as a private 7th class. He owned 276 acres in Tulpehocken Township, which was later sold after his death to settle a debt. Many of Sylvester's descendants still live in the area and prefer to spell their last name as Neuin.

Elizabeth GRIESEMER and Sylvester Vesper NEUIN had the following children:

Johannes NEUIN¹¹ was born about 1770 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died in 1839 in Ohio. Married Magdalena Nushag on 11 May 1800, and resided in Tulpehocken Township in 1800 Census. Land records indicate he owned land in Madison and Jefferson Townships, Montgomery Co., Ohio in 1816. He is listed in the 1820 Census in Madison Township, Ohio. Magdalena is reported to have died in 1822. The 1820 Census listed his family with 8 sons and 3 daughters. John married Elizabeth (nee France) Collers in 1825 and had three additional children with her. In 1829 he owned land in Clark Co., Ohio, near the Gephart family. His estate records mention the following heirs: Jonathan, Benjamin, Daniel, John, Lucinda, Sarah and a Henry Friedland, who may have married a deceased daughter.

Elizabeth NEUIN¹¹ was born about 1776. Married John Braun on 22 December 1795 .

Conrad NEUIN¹¹ was born about 1778 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 2 June 1839 in Maryland. He was buried in Maryland. Moved to West Virginia with brother Christian. He had married first an Elizabeth and begat 4 children. He later married Julia A. Bischoff Stemple. Julia was born 28 September 1803. He finally moved to a farm at Eglon, Maryland, which remains today in the hands of a Nine descendent.

Maria NEUIN¹¹ was born on 14 August 1782 in Tulpehocken Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 9 November 1875. She was buried in Pine Grove, Schuylkill Co., PA. Married William Tobias on 11 May 1800.

Susanna NEUIN¹¹ was born on 1 October 1786 in Tulpehocken Township, Berks Co., PA. She was baptized in Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. I had her as Catharine and married to a Daniel Schneider. Had at least a son Peter.

Catharine NEUIN¹¹ was born about 1791 in Tulpehocken Township, Berks Co., PA. I am assuming the name of Catharine, could also be Barbara. She married Henry Wolfe. He was from Tulpehocken Township, and was executor of Sylvestor Neun's will.
