201. Anthony B. BITTING^8,26,33,38 was born on 10 Feb 1841 in Reading, PA. He died on 18 May 1922 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. Anthony served during the Civil War as a Private in Co. B, with the 128th PA Volunteer Infantry, and during a second enlistment with Capt. Durell's Independent Battery D, PA Volunteer Artillery. After the war he operated a grocery store in Reading on Franklin Street. He was a member of the First Reformed Church in Reading. He moved to Oley at age 78.

Anthony B. BITTING and Hannah BARD were married about 1867. Hannah BARD^33,38 was born on 13 Aug 1847. She died on 5 Feb 1922 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. Anthony B. BITTING and Hannah BARD had the following children:

306	i.	William Henry BITTING33,38 was born in 1870 in Reading, PA. He died on 14 Mar 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. He was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. William died while on a trip to Philadelphia. He resided at 411 Walnut Street, West Reading. He was a retired machinist, member First Baptist Church & Odd Fellows. Survived by his brother Frank, and a daughter Ada, married to Charles M. Frey.
