240. Samuel Bower DETURCK⁸ was born on 15 May 1797 in Perry Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 29 Sep 1864 in Berks County, PA. He was buried in St. John's "Gernant" Church, Leesport, PA. Headstone reported to have a birth year of 1792, age given as 75-5-14. Also says Samuel is a son of Daniel and Susan. Reading Adler has age 72-5-4 ?? I think I got it right.

Samuel Bower DETURCK and Catherine ALTHOUSE were married about 1818. Catherine ALTHOUSE⁸ (daughter of Daniel ALTHOUSE) was born on 25 Aug 1798 in Berks County, PA. She died on 13 Nov 1881 in Berks County, PA. She was buried in St. John's "Gernant" Church, Leesport, PA. Samuel Bower DETURCK and Catherine ALTHOUSE had the following children:
