381. Mayberry Augustus BERTOLET^4,20,35 was born on 16 Feb 1813 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized on 22 Sep 1822 in Salem Reformed Church, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. He died on 16 Nov 1863. He was buried in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA. Mayberry was born on his father's farm in Oley. He operated rolling mills in Schuylkill County and West Reading. Later he was placed in charge of the Scott Foundry. The 1850 Census has him in Reading and listed as an iron manufacturer. After leaving the iron business, Mayberry accepted a position as deputy naval officer, an office he held at his death.
