Chester served as a Berks County commissioner 1906 - 1908. Received the Pleasantville property from his grandfather Samuel. Resided in 1933 at Manatawny.

Chester B. CLEAVER and Ellen B. WEIDNER were married about 1878. Ellen B. WEIDNER^10,14,55 (daughter of Reuben Yoder WEIDNER and Mary Ann BEAM) was born in 1855 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She died in 1938. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Chester B. CLEAVER and Ellen B. WEIDNER had the following children:
