She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Katie (Drumheller) Lechner. She was the valedictorian of the Oley Valley High School Class of 1941. She is survived by two daughters, Linda, wife of Leon J. Neiman, Ruscombmanor Township, and Susan Schlappich, Robesonia; and two sons, Harrison Christman, Reading, and Dennis Christman, husband of Peggy, Oley. Other survivors include a sister, Mabel Bennethum, Pleasantville. There also are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
