1782. Samuel Earl GRIESEMER^14,19,80 was born on 11 Jun 1899. He was baptized on 15 Aug 1899 in St. Joseph's Hill Church, Pike Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 17 Feb 1977. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Apparantly went by Earl. Was an active member of the Griesemer Family Association.

Samuel Earl GRIESEMER and Kathryn V. AMMARELL were married on 7 May 1921. Kathryn V. AMMARELL^14,19 was born on 20 Jul 1900. She died on 6 Jun 1959. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Samuel Earl GRIESEMER and Kathryn V. AMMARELL had the following children:

+2645	i.	Harold A. GRIESEMER19,39 was born on 7 Jun 1922 in Reading, PA. He died on 14 Feb 2007 in Reading, PA. He was buried in Laureldale Cemetery, Berks Co., PA. Harold, West Lawn, died at 11:03 p.m. in the emergency room in Reading Hospital, where he had been less than one hour. Obit has him born 7 July 1922. Harold worked for 20 years as a mechanical engineer for Textile Machine Works, Wyomissing, and then for 20 years at Western Electric Co., retiring in 1985. He was a graduate of Reading High School and a graduate of Lehigh University. He received his master’s of mechanical engineering degree from Penn State University in 1942. Harold was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. Harold also is survived by two daughters, Susan L. Griesemer, Falls Church, Va., and Kathy Ann Griesemer, at home. Other survivors include a sister, Elizabeth (Griesemer) LeVan, Temple. He was predeceased by a son, H. Alan Griesemer, in 1989.
