1778. Walter Ehst GRIESEMER^14,19,39 was born on 31 Jul 1889 in Bechtelsville, PA. He died on 18 Mar 1971. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Formally of Wyomissing, he died at a home in Birdsboro, PA. Walter worked first for Bethlehem Steel, then later as a machinist for Berkshire International Corp. in Wyomissing, PA, retiring in 1955. He served as President of the Griesemer Reunion Association from 1933 to 1968. He was a member Calvary United Methodist Church, Wyomissing, the Patriotic Order Sons of America and the Berkshire Heights Fire Company. He was also affilated with Lodge 62, Free & Accepted Masons; the Pagoda Club of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Reading and Rajah Temple; Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, and its chanters.

Walter Ehst GRIESEMER and Edith N. LEVAN were married on 14 Sep 1915. Edith N. LEVAN^14,19 was born on 14 Nov 1889 in Reading, PA. She died on 5 Mar 1958. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Daughter of Harry S. Levan and Amanda Norton. Edith was a school teacher. Walter Ehst GRIESEMER and Edith N. 2641	i.	Alice Louise GRIESEMER14,19 was born on 21 Jan 1917. She died on 9 May 1917. She was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA.
+2642	ii.	Edith J. GRIESEMER19,39 was born in 1918 in Bethlehem, PA. She died on 11 Nov 2005 in Wernersville, PA. She was buried in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Mount Penn, PA. Edith, a retired elementary teacher and principal, died in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center Inc., Wernersville, where she had resided since Oct. 21. She was employed for 34 years as a teacher and as a teacher and principal at St. Lawrence Elementary School in the Exeter School District, retiring June 15, 1973. Edith was a 1937 graduate of Wilson High School and received an associate degree in education from Kutztown State Teacher's College. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1950 from Kutztown. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Wyomissing. She was a former membership chairwoman of the Berkshire Seniors. Surviving is a brother, Walter Griesemer, Wyomissing.
2643	iii.	Walter A. GRIESEMER19 was born on 23 Jan 1923 in Reading, PA. Received his B. S. in Education at Millersville State College and his M. S. from the University of Pennsylvania. Served with the US Navy during WW II. Married V. Lorraine Martin. If he is the same one: He was President of the Griesemer Family Association in 2004 - 2006. Resided in Sinking Spring, PA, but reported to have sold house and was roaming amoung members of his family.
2644	iv.	Adelaide May GRIESEMER19 was born on 13 Jul 1926 in Reading, PA. She died before 2005. Married David F. Mell on 25 June 1950.

Walter Ehst GRIESEMER and Hettie BIEHL were married on 23 Nov 1961 in Reading, PA. Hettie BIEHL^17,39 (daughter of Samuel K. BIEHL and Mary B. PRICE) was born on 27 May 1887 in Gilbertsville, Montgomery Co., PA. Resided Gilbertsville when Walter died. Hettie was married earlier to a Quigley, and had sons Willis and Carl, and three daughters: Ardell, wife of Preston Conrad, Gilbertsville; Thorma, wife of Lewis Wagner, NY; and Shirley, wife of Robert Williams, Utah. She was divorced from Quigley 17 Oct 1959.
