7. Frederick Americus BERTOLET^2,4 was born in 1726 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died in 1769 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Jean Bertolet Family Plot, Oley Township, PA. Lived with his father on the original homestead. He bought the homestead from his father in 1757 for 300 pounds.

Frederick Americus BERTOLET and Esther LEVAN were married in 1751. Esther LEVAN^4,6,8,11 (daughter of Abraham B. LEVAN and Catherine WEIMAR) was born on 5 Aug 1732 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She died in 1792. She was buried in DeTurck-Rothermel Cemetery, Tuckerton, PA. Esther married second to Frederick Maurer. She had two sons and a daughter with Maurer, names unknown. Her head stone states her marriage to Maurer lasted 19 years, 11 months, 11 days. Frederick Americus BERTOLET and Esther LEVAN had the following children:
