2. Abraham BERTOLET^2,4,5,6,7,8 was born on 11 Dec 1712 in Minfield, Pfalz. He died in Jul 1766 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Bertolet Union Cemetery, Oley Township, PA. Abe and Esther had two other children not listed. A daughter who drowned in the stream running thru the farm meadow. And a son Peter, who died while playing on a stack of logs, that let loose and killed him. History of Berks also mentions a son Peter who married Mary Yoder. They lived on a farm which was given by Esther's father Isaac to her by deed on May 7, 1721. Abraham built a fine stone house in 1736. The farm was sold to their son Daniel. Burial plot is on east side of Main Street extension of the town of Oley, behind present Assembly of God Meeting House. Abraham was a blacksmith and in 1934 the homestead was owned by Israel M. Bertolet.

Abraham BERTOLET and Esther DETURK were married in 1735. Esther DETURK^2,5,6,7,8 (daughter of Isaac DETURK and Anna Maria DEHARCOURT) was born on 29 Sep 1710 in Quassick Creek, Duchess Co., PA. She was baptized on 29 Apr 1711 in New York, NY. She died on 17 May 1798 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. She was buried in Bertolet Union Cemetery, Oley Township, PA. Abraham BERTOLET and Esther DETURK had the following children:
