155. Abraham Hoch GRIESEMER^1,6,19,33 was born on 26 Oct 1782 in Oley Township, Berks Co., PA. He died on 1 Dec 1847. He was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amity Township, PA. Farmed a 40 acre tract in Amity Township, given to him by his father. Also operated a grist mill he built in 1843, and a saw mill located on his land. He and Catharine had seven children. The 7th child was a girl and mentioned in History of Berks, 1909 as Mrs. Daniel Bertolette.

Abraham Hoch GRIESEMER and Catherine RITTER were married about 1809. Catherine RITTER^1,19,33 (daughter of Matthias RITTER and Anna Maria Magdelena HIELMAN) was born on 26 Jun 1788 in Colebrookdale Township, Berks Co., PA. She was baptized on 31 Aug 1788 in St. Joseph's Hill Church, Pike Township, Berks Co., PA. She died on 18 Jan 1859. She was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amity Township, PA. Sponsors Johannes and Catharine Weiss.
