He died on 24 Dec 1954 in Berks County, PA. He was buried in Oley Cemetery, Spangsville, Berks Co., PA. Clarence retired from St. Lawrence Dairy, where he worked as a bottler. He was a member of the Frieden's Lutheran Church, Yellow House Lodge of the Red Men and the Oley Fire Company. Prior to his employ with St. Lawrence, he farmed the Herbein Farm along Limekiln Road.
